Abstract
This article is devoted to identification and determination common factor which impact on innovation level activity of Russian regions. The analysis of existing works on this topic was carried out, and the results of the study were summarized and analyzed too. The sample for the published study includes 33 different federal entities, different econometric models were constructed and compared. Recommendations were made and conclusions were produced about further way of development innovation activity in Russian Federation regions.
