Abstract

The article is devoted to the influence of the digital economy and digitalization on the change of industrial companies' competitiveness factors. To measure the digital competitiveness of industrial enterprises, the authors proposed seven indicators: the introduction of the Internet of Things, the availability of a digital platform, automation of business processes with an Internet connection, cybersecurity, the use of smart digital models, the introduction of intelligent surveillance systems, robotization of production processes. Based on these indicators, a survey was conducted, where employees of the Sinar Pipe Plant (SinTZ) acted as experts. The results obtained made it possible to construct the SinTZ' competitiveness polygons in the Russian and foreign markets among steel pipe manufacturers, as well as the overall rating of the industrial enterprises' digital competitiveness. The study findings can be used by industrial companies to manage the level of production digitalization and build strategies in the digital economy.
