Abstract
This article reflects the issues of application of intelligent systems, innovative methods and tools in teaching students and postgraduates of higher education institutions, as well as in the management of all areas of activity of higher education institutions. The authors consider the structure of an intelligent system, emphasize the role of the knowledge base in the structure of an intelligent system. In addition, this work notes that the introduction of intelligent technologies into the educational process at a university helps to improve the quality of training of specialists by creating more comfortable learning conditions, the possibility of providing each student with an individual trajectory of acquiring knowledge, developing professional competencies. The authors concluded that the use of artificial intelligence in a university is one of the innovative areas in the training of qualified specialists in the context of new challenges of our time.
